Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using builderstradinghouse.com (the “Site”), operated by Builders Trading House (“BTH”, “we”, “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Nature of This Site
The Site is a product catalog and showcase for building materials we import and distribute. It does not display pricing and does not process sales or payments. All content is provided for general information to support trade inquiries.
Requests for Quote Are Not Contracts
Submitting a Request for Quote (“RFQ”) through the Site is an inquiry only. Neither your RFQ nor any quotation we issue in response constitutes a binding offer, order, or contract of sale. All quotations are subject to product availability, final confirmation, and a separate written agreement. Neither party is under any obligation to purchase or supply until such an agreement is executed.
Product Information
Product specifications, dimensions, finishes, and certifications shown on the Site are based on materials provided by manufacturers and are subject to change without notice. Images are illustrative; actual colour, texture, and finish may vary, particularly for natural and batch-produced materials. You are responsible for verifying all specifications before placing an order.
Quote List Feature
The Quote List is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and is not transmitted to our servers unless you submit an RFQ. Clearing your browser data will remove your saved list. We are not responsible for loss of locally stored selections.
Intellectual Property
The Site and its content – including text, layout, and the BTH name and logo – are owned by us or our licensors. Product images and technical materials may be the property of their respective manufacturers. No content may be reproduced or redistributed without prior written permission, except for personal or internal business reference.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose, to misrepresent your identity or business in an RFQ, to scrape or systematically extract Site content, or to interfere with the Site’s operation or security.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or availability of the Site or its content.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BTH shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its content, including reliance on product information prior to written confirmation.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
